It is the eminent Sociologist and Psychologist, Eric Fromm, who said, "Education is helping the child realise his potentialities." The root of the word education, he went on to say, is "educere", literally, to lead forth, or to bring out something which is potentially present. A child is born with certain innate abilities which, given the right learning environment, can help him or her realise the fullest fruition of those qualities to lead a productive and meaningful life. It is the onerous responsibility of educational institutions to help the child metamorphose into such an individual. It is the ambition and constant struggle on the part of Dyavappanavar - Valasang Educational and Academic Trust to “mould the mind” of the children who come into its fold. We, at Chetan Public School, strive incessantly to instruct and lead the students to excel themselves in a competitive world. We give a lot of importance to making discipline a core value. We encourage students to develop a sense of responsibility through a well planned academic schedule. House System, various Inter School, Intra School competitions and Sports activities are taken up. The school has a well-planned curriculum so that co-curricular activities also are given due importance. Our school is constantly scaling new heights with excellent faculty training our children in a range of co-curricular activities so that they evolve as excellent individuals with enhanced skills and are equipped to lead and inspire the world. I take this opportunity to thank all the parents who have reposed their faith in our school. We assure to do our very best always.
